* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Southern Broward County in southeastern Florida... Northern Miami-Dade County in southeastern Florida... * WHEN...Until 530 AM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 434 AM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Hollywood, Hallandale, Miami Gardens, North Miami, North Miami Beach, Aventura, Dania Beach, Sunny Isles Beach, West Park, Ojus, Oak Point, Estates Of Fort Lauderdale, Ravenswood Estates, Chambers Estates, Fort Lauderdale - Hollywood International Airport and Golden Glades. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
