Southern Wichita County in northern Texas... * Until 915 PM CDT. * At 836 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 5 miles northwest of Iowa Park to 7 miles southeast of Mankins to 7 miles northeast of Megargel, moving east at 40 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. * Locations impacted include... Wichita Falls, Archer City, Iowa Park, Holliday, Scotland, Dean, Windthorst, Jolly, Lake Arrowhead, Sheppard AFB, Dundee, Mankins, Lake Kickapoo, Lakeside City, Pleasant Valley, and Cashion. For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
