At 551 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 25 miles north of Algodones Dunes, or 31 miles east of Brawley, moving north at 45 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 30 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Calipatria, Slab City, Glamis, Wiest and Niland. Monitor the weather situation closely and be alert for threatening weather conditions.
